About
Built for children's homes, and for nothing else.
Most of the software a children's home is offered was built for adult social care, or for care at home, and then had its wording changed. It shows. Careframe was written for residential children's homes from the first line — which is why it knows what a sleep-in is, why an independent visit has a cycle, and why the word on a staff file is DBS in England and PVG in Scotland.
Why Careframe exists
Children's homes run on paperwork that nobody went into the job to do. The rota is in one place, the daily logs in another, the staff files in a filing cabinet, and the compliance list in a spreadsheet somebody set up two managers ago. None of it is hard. All of it is relentless, and the cost of getting it wrong lands on a child.
Careframe's bet is that the paperwork should be a by-product of the work, not a second job after it. If the shift happened, the timesheet should already know. If the check expired, somebody should have been told last month. If an inspector asks, the evidence should already be assembled.
Built with a registered manager looking over it
Every part of Careframe has been reviewed by someone who runs a children's home for a living, and a good deal of it has been rewritten because they said it did not match how the job actually works. That is the reason there is no readiness score in the product: the manager's response to the idea, unprompted, was that a predicted grade would be worse than useless.
It is also why the product says plainly when something is not built. A tool you cannot trust about its own limits is not a tool you should trust with a child's record.
Where we are
Careframe is early. Running the home and caring for the child are built and in use; training is not built and the site says so wherever it comes up. We are a small team and you will deal with the people building it rather than an account manager.

What we will not do
We will not tell you that Careframe makes you compliant, or that it predicts how an inspection will go. It does not, and no software does. Careframe organises and evidences the work your team already does, so that when someone asks, you can show them.
We are not a legal service and we do not give regulatory advice. Where a duty is good practice in your nation rather than law, the app says so rather than presenting it as a requirement.
