Running more than one children's home means assembling the picture from phone calls, emails and a different spreadsheet per home — and finding out about the home that is slipping last. Careframe puts every home you are responsible for on one screen, ordered by what needs attention, with a route from any line straight into the record behind it.

Homes are ordered by separate facts — what has to be fixed first, then how many areas need action, then how many gaps there are in total. There is deliberately no single score, and no average across homes.
That is a design decision, not an omission. An average hides the thing you needed to see: a home that is fine on eleven counts and has no background check on one member of staff is not a good home that week. Ranking shows you which home to phone this morning; an average shows you a number that goes up.

A trend, not a guess
A nightly snapshot per home means you can say “seven gaps, down from eleven” rather than relying on an impression.
It tells you when it does not know.
A home that has never been checked says so and is not ranked as clear, which is the failure mode that matters: a quiet home looking like a good home.
And the view respects your own permissions. An area you have not been given at a particular home is marked as not shown to you and left out of that home's counts, rather than the cross-home screen quietly becoming a way around the per-home boundary.

Directors, Responsible Individuals and managers do not need the same screen. Careframe shows a different cross-home view depending on which of those you are, and every one of them drills into the same underlying records rather than into a separate report that can drift from them.
What this does not do
- There is no predicted inspection grade and no readiness percentage anywhere in Careframe. It lists gaps; it has no opinion about how an inspection will go.
- Careframe does not colour a regulator's judgement heading red, amber or green. A colour on a judgement would read as our prediction of it.
- There is no "training gaps by home" view. Training is not built yet, in any form.
- The cross-home view reads your own records. It cannot see anything you have not recorded in Careframe.
